Fortunately we had finished all the workshops for the Shout Out project when lockdown happened, but our exhibition at Soft Touch Arts has had to be cancelled. So not to be deterred we are taking the exhibition online, a website will be live very soon, showing all the amazing work from our young people. Art, music and a documentary film.
The 3 young homeless centres that have been involved with the Shout Out project have made 3 large scale art works each 7ft high.
5 weeks of exploring colour with paint, developing and having fun with techniques
Focusing on colour, really enjoyed teaching at ArtCore and we made some beautiful pieces and had a lot of fun.
After 5 months the finished piece is made up from residents and ex residents art work on 80 tiles.
Now sitting in pride of place in the orchard garden – Health & Well-being team at YMCA Derbyshire – thank you for your support!
